The tulip linifolia are a small bowl shaped tulip that produce scarlet red flowers with pointed tips. Once these flowers are in direct sunlight they will open fully and show a dark base to the flower. The leave are a wavy green and are an ideal tulip for bedding, rockeries and small displays.
