This ‘Nantes’ type carrot variety produces high yields of strong, silky roots. Grows well in all types of soil, has a great flavour, and can be planted as an early or maincrop. Sow outdoors from March to June in even rows. Thinnings are delicious cooked as finger carrots or raw in salads. Harvest from July to October. Plant alongside spring onions, leeks, mint, marigolds. Their scent can repel carrot fly.
