The Unwins kitchen her kit comes with four delicious and popular kitchen herbs for growing on the window sill or light and bright room within your home. The herbs are ‘cut and come again’ varieties so just pick regularly and new shoots will grow again and again which will ensure you never run out of your favourite herb. The compost within the trough is a nutrient rich, moisture retaining blend of compost which promotes good germination and plant growth, whilst preventing drying out during the day and enabling easier re wetting once dry. The kit comes with four plastic pots that fit neatly into the wooden trough which is painted in a modern grey wash effect. The trough is printed with a Kitchen Garden logo on one side. The wooden trough is lined to prevent water seepage onto your furniture and preventing the exterior trough getting wet. Within the Unwins kit there are enough seeds for 2 sowings of each variety whilst also giving you spare seeds that you can store in a cool dark place until they are required to be sowed again.
