Tulip Queen Of The Night

Dark coloured satin black flowers have a single late variety. Avoid planting tulips repeatedly in the same spot and remove flower heads as they fade. Purple in colour they flower in April to May to a flowering height of 60cm (24 inches). This is a famously dark tulip and looks beautiful beside purple coloured plants. Choose a sunny location and plant in well drained, fertile soil. Perfect to cut these flowers the variety will provide colour from mid-April throughout May.
