These long, thin white shoots are produced just 12 weeks from sowing and as well as giving you your own lightsabre, they also make tasty additions to salads.
Growing Information: Sow your seeds from March to May. Using your finger, make a line in the soil. Sow thinly, cover with compost and watch for the appearance of the small seedlings which should take 18-24 days. You can also grow your lightsabres the same way in big pots. For lots of lightsabres, sow a few seeds every two weeks. ‘Yoda’ will multiply, meaning one seed should produce several lightsabres. Ready to pick when each stalk is as thick as a pencil. Ready to eat from June to August.
